Smart Car Mirror Solution

This Sunday, we met and continued to develop the object and how it will function. The interviews we conducted last week helped us understand that the most critical time in the car between a parent and a child who needs care is during the journey. We devised a concept whereby the object would effectively serve as a mirror, enabling eye contact between the parent and child without either needing to turn their head. therefore, This week, we delved into the significance of eye contact in interactions and conversations. The literature review indicated that eye contact plays a crucial role in fostering conversation and affectionate interaction between individuals. Furthermore, this week we considered creating a pop-out effect from the object, which will serve as a reminder for the child to pay attention to the parent while traveling and conversing. We dedicated this week to researching the impact of pop-out stimuli on an individual. Additionally, we investigated smart mirrors and the potential for facial recognition within the mirror. We examined the architecture required for such an object together with Assaf.
